Autumn is here and generally I don’t change up my beauty products too much between the season. Generally I switch to a more heavy duty face cream and sometimes opt for a darker red lipstick, outwith that not too much changes. However, there are a few products that I have been loving and will definitely be keeping in my routine as the nights draw in and it gets a little bit chillier.
CND Shellac in Wildfire
During the summer a friend of mine very kindly gifted me a nail machine she no longer uses and then later, the same friend, gifted me a bottle of CND Wildfire nail polish. She knows I love a red nail and that Wildfire is one of my favourites – what a good pal.
This is a beautiful true red polish that is flaterring on the hands with or without a tan. And being a gel, it lasts weeks without chipping.
MAC Lady Danger lipstick
I know I said that normally my red lipstick gets a wee bit darker but Lady Danger is a new addition to my (probably too big) lipstick collection and I can’t stop wearing it!
This bright coral red is super long lasting, being a matte finish and just brightens up autumn skin that probably needs to see a bit more daylight. It is perfect for during the day or if you want to add some colour to an evening out.
Estee Lauder Doublewear Stay in Place eye pencil
This product is a staple in makeup and had been for a long time. It isn’t the cheapest of eye liner pencils however it is a very good one, and that is a strong enough justification for me. As with all Doublewear products from Estee Lauder this is a really long lasting eye pencil and has really strong colour pay off.
