Beauty: nip + fab glycolic fix cleanser

Another cleanser. It is no secret around here that I am a serial cleanser buyer and trier. It is up there with eyeliners for the number than I tried out and from the looks of things, my love for buying them isn’t going to end anytime soon. I had been loving the Neutrogena Hydro boost cleaner for a good wee while but I was feeling a little bit spotty and felt that I need something a wee bit stronger for when I am taking off my make up at night. Naturally this meant that I had to take a trip to Superdrug. I went kicking and screaming – trust me.

Scouting out the skincare shelves is something I enjoy a little too much, I love just seeing what all the brands have to offer and finding something new to try. Simple things.

I left with the nip + fab glycolic fix cleanser (£7.95) which is the first product I’ve ever tried from the brand. Containing glycolic acid to re-texture and olive oil to hydrate. Basically all that I wanted from a cleanser. The product is a gel consistency but is a relatively thin gel that lathers into a foam when it meets water. This is a product that when you apply it to your face you instantly feel that your skin is getting a good, deep cleanse but afterwards your skin doesn’t feel tight. The product has a refreshing grapefruit scent that isn’t over powering or off putting.

After a week of use, my skin is softer and clearer (even after the usual new cleanser purge) while feeling more nourished that it has in a long while. My skin is particularly sensitive and there have been many a morning where I have woken up with a swollen face normally bright red eye lids and a general ache from my skin being stripped of anything good. This isn’t the case with the nip + fab glycolic fix cleanser. There is absolutely no irritation to my skin and it feels (and looks) better than it has in a long time.

I am so impressed and pleased with the results of this that I am definitely going to be heading back to the nip + fab counter to try out more products. Have you tried any nip + fab, what products would you recommend?
