It’s Autumn. There is no denying it. Autumn 2014 is well and truly here with the air getting nippier, leaves starting to fall and the nights getting darker so of course this means changes in the beauty products used.
Changing up the products I use between seasons is probably not essential but I love finding new products therefore it is valid… right?! Recently my entire approach to make up has changed and I’m actually really loving the fact that I am mixing things up a bit. Obviously this means that I had to buy new products… I mean that is just a given so without further rambles here are some of my Autumn Beauty Picks!
I was sceptical about this mascara. Mainly due to L’oreal mascaras causing my eyes to ever to slightly die but Miss Manga has surprised me. After one coast, my lashes are full and volumise without being clumpy. Win. Definitely a new mascara favourite.
107 has got a bit of a cult following now, the most popular of the range this lipstick and it isn’t hard to to see why. A beautiful berry toned lipstick in a matte finish that works just as well during the day as it does at night. A firm staple in any lipstick lovers collection especially for the colder months.
Yep another berry toned lipstick. This time it is Revlon’s offering in the form of their matte balms. Standout isn’t as deep at 107 but is still a beautiful colour. The Matte Balms are some of my favourite lipsticks purely for the colour pay off and lasting power. Plus they smell amazing.
An impulse buy on Friday after work, the Dancing till Dusk palette is a lovely mix of browns – two matte and two shimmer which I think you can really make some beautiful looks with. The palette also features a orange based blush alongside a shimmery pink blush. The palette although not extensive you could get a handful of looks out of this and it is affordable! #win
I am always on the hunt for a new skincare products and this was a bit of ‘I’ll just it and see product!’ With oily skin a lot of people think that avoiding oil based products is essential. I don’t believe this to be true – sure I need products that control the amount of oil that I produce but remvoing my make up with an oil based product really does it no harm. A light oil that removes even the msot stubborn of eye liner leaving your skin make up free and fresh.
I love this stuff!
Short hair doesn’t require heavy styling products or a lot of said products – less is more when it comes to short hair. Hair oils really make a difference to my hair because well I dye it and I blow dry it everyday even though I cut it regularly (a must for pixie cuts) it still needs a bit of health to look smooth and sleek. Oil-licious – hideous name – is a saviour product. Light but effective this one is a true winner in the hair oil competition.
What products have you been loving this Autumn?
