August means one thing in the City of Edinburgh. The Fringe Festival.
Edinburgh really does come to life during this month, the City fills up with tourists from all over the world and there are more things for you to do than you could ever imagine. On Tuesday night, myself and my friend Emma went along to the launch of the Edinburgh Festivals magazine in George Square spiegeltent. Before heading along to enjoy the delights of Edinburgh Gin and see some acts we went off to Biddy Mulligans on the Grassmarket. A Irish Rugby pub that is always fun. If you haven’t been, then you should. The food, live music and atmosphere is amazing. Especially on rugby day.
After the party we took ourselves to Oz Bar for a little beverage then to Barbados. Sadly this establishment only opens for the month of August, I say sadly because it is bloody epic. A rum bar that has live music and the floor is covered in sand. Amazing! Plus they have ping pong tables.
