Links to read #12

Another week, another installment of Links to read. Thrilling.

I’ve not been reading a lot on the internet this week because I’ve been distracted by a few books. Namely Roxanne Gay ‘Bad Feminist’, Lynda La Plante ‘Hidden Killers’ and Stassi Schroeder ‘Next Level Basic.’ I would recommend them all to you for your reading joy.

Catch up on previous Links to read here.

Peculiar Benefits by Roxane Gay

Peculiar Benefits is an essay from the afore mentioned ‘Bad Feminist’ book that I have been dipping in and out of. It is a really great look at entitlement and our attitude towards it. I won’t say anymore because I think everyone should go and read this.

Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix

I’m late to the party on this one, very late, but I have been binge watching Santa Clarita Diet on Netflix for the past week or so because well Drew Barrymore! This is a lighthearted, fun TV programme that is definitely worth a watch if you are looking for something easy to watch. 20 minute episodes are really easy to get through!

Who What Wear UK – The Wardrobe basics Kate Moss has been wearing for 20 years

Kate Moss. Need I say anymore? I love Kate Moss’ style, she always looks put together but with a little scruffy edge.

The New York Times – Stassi Schroeder of Vanderpump Rules on being Basic

Another article on a book I am reading… I’m having a bit of a book moment, can you tell? Stassi is an out and proud basic bitch and you know what, I am proud to say so am I.
