L’oreal Colour Riche A L’huile Nail Polish

When it comes to nail polish I can be a bit basic – hate the use of that word but nevertheless I have said it – and generally end up picking up the same shades again and again. These range from a classic red to a dark, plum shade and with a brief stop off at grey shades. Not very exciting but it is what makes me happy when I look down at my nails. Simple things, I guess.

Nail polish isn’t something I am particuarly keen on forking out on, I would rather save my hard earned cash for other products such as mascara and eyeliner, maybe even a new pair of shoes or a handbag. Generally, I stick to High Street nail polish brands with my splurge purchase being Essie nail polishes. Luxedo – what a polish that is! In my opinion, L’oreal has really reinvented itself as a brand and has secured a place in chemists and supermarkets make up aisles until the end of time. Their foundation range has more shades than you can imagine seeing on the stands at Boots, you can get eye liner in any consistancy you wish and the shades of lipsticks are like a bright, shining rainbow. If you hadn’t guessed by now, I really love L’oreal as a High Street brand. The nail polishes are no exception.

The L’oreal Colour Riche A L’huile nail polish collection is bloody brilliant. You heard it here first.

What are my three favourite shades, I hear you ponder. Well ponder no more dear reader, I shall share this with you.

The grey – (672) Gris Decadent

The red – (550) Rouge Sauvage

The dark plum – (556)Grenat Irreverent

What other shades could you need in your nail polish collection than these three little beauties?

The Colour Riche L’huile nail polishes are shiny and vibrant nail polishes, even the dark colours have a vibrancy to them which is just lush. Even with an office job that consists of me bashing away at a keyboard for pretty much the entire week you get limited chipping which is really the aim of the game when it comes to nail polish. I do use the Seche Vite dry fast top coat which adds even more shine to the nails and does help with longetivity however I tried these sans top coat and the staying power was really great. Definitely worth a purhcase even just to try them out but believe me you won’t be disappointed.
