Packing for a long weekend

When it comes to packing I am the worst for just taking everything and anything. I put things into my suitcase with the idea in mind that I ‘might’ feel like wearing it rather than actually planning out what to wear each day. I am off for a long weekend in Dublin tomorrow morning and this trip requires me to pack sensibly. We only opted for carry on bags rather than putting something in the hold so space is limited. The trip lasts from Friday morning until Sunday night, we don’t have anything really specific planned bar going to see Tyler Hilton tomorrow night. *Squeals like a 13 year old*

I decided to stick to my standard uniform – black jeans with a top – for all of the days. During the day I could wear the black jeans and a tshirt with some flats to go exploring then in the evenings I could jazz up the outfit with a more formal top and a heel in a sandal style.

In terms of beauty products and make up, we decided it would be best to take the absolute essentials in terms of body hygiene and pick up shampoo etc in duty free. Make up was something I could not go without. I took my everyday make up because I know that what is in that make up bag fits perfectly for day and night.
