Zizzi, West End.

Zizzi is often an overlooked eatery of choice for me, I often just totally forget about it all together. Last weekend I ventured into the Zizzi restaurant in the West End of Edinburgh for lunch and a catch up. The decor in Zizzi is gorgeous – modern with a retro twist. A beautiful open oven for the pizzas and a nice bar area. I opted for the Skinny Primavera Pizza and my dining companion opted for a prosciutto¬†salad. Both equally delicious without giving that post lunch lag that you get when you’ve eaten something a little bit too heavy.

My only moan about Zizzi, West End – the staff. They were not overly friendly or helpful in fact they were quite off hand and every request was taken as an annoyance. Excluding that, lunch at Zizzi, West End was delicious.
