Products I've Used Up: #2
Updated: Jun 23
I didn't actually purchase this, it was a gift with purchase but that isn't really important information in the grand scheme of things. This is a nice setting spray if you are looking for a full on healthy glow.
My one tip - don't forget to shake before spraying. It makes a massive difference to the glow given. Focusing the spray on the high points of the face makes for a really fresh and dewy skin, I used this as a refreshing spray more so than a setting spray. I spritzed it on when my makeup was feeling a bit dull and needing a little refresh. Doing this did just that and didn't leave makeup looking cakey or like you sprayed something onto your face post makeup application!
Another day, another revolution product I am loving.
This concealer is great for under your eyes to brighten the area and make you look more awake. It is a full coverage concealer and as the name suggests, you can coneal or highlight with it! I have only used it to concealer and brighten under my eyes so I can't put in my thoughts out there about how it goes as a 'defining' product.
It comes in the regular size and in a larger size so if you are a big fan then picking it up in the bigger size is definitely worth considering.
I like this mascara, it is a good mascara for length and volume but I have 2 issues with it.
It is an absolute b*tch to get off. Even after eyemakeup remover and a cleanse with a micro fibre cloth, this stuff is still there. It is very hard to get off!
Despite the fact it is very hard to get off, this mascara tends to bleed down under your eyes even after poundering your undereye.
it is a shame that it is so hard to get off and transfers so much as it is a really good mascara.
Another mascara that I got used up and another Revolution product. This was the first mascara that I had tried from the brand and it is good. Not my favourite mascara ever but it is good and I definitely would repurchase. It gives full and thick lashes - stripper lashes if Nadine Baggott was describing it - and that is exactly what I want from my mascara. It is also a bargain at £6!
The Butter Glosses from NYX are a cult product and are some of my favourite glosses on the market. The shade Madeleine is brown based nude gloss rather than a the pink nude base of another favourite, Creme Brulee. These glosses are a nice light gloss meaning your lips don't feel like you've caked on product and have sticky lips.
